No—yoga therapy is very different from a traditional yoga class.
Rather than following a set sequence or keeping up with a group, yoga therapy is personalized to you. We focus on how your body moves, how you breathe, and how your nervous system responds to stress, pain, or past experiences.
It’s slower, more intentional, and designed to meet you exactly where you are.
-
Not at all.
Many people I work with are beginners or have tried other approaches that didn’t feel helpful or sustainable. This work is about learning how to listen to your body—not performing poses or getting it “right.”
-
Yoga therapy can support people experiencing:
Chronic pain or tension
Stress or anxiety
Limited mobility or stiffness
Recovery from injury
A general feeling of disconnection from their body
We focus on building awareness, reducing unnecessary strain, and creating more ease in how you move and feel.
-
All sessions are held virtually via Zoom.
You’ll receive a private link before your session. We meet one-on-one in a quiet, focused space where you can move comfortably and without distraction.
-
A laptop or computer (preferred) or tablet
A quiet, distraction-free space
Enough room for a yoga mat
Comfortable clothing
Phones can be used if needed, but a larger screen allows for a better experience.
-
Yes—many people are surprised by how effective virtual sessions can be.
In fact, practicing from home often allows you to feel more relaxed and focused. There’s no commute, no parking, no rushing to get somewhere on time—just space to arrive and settle into the work.
That first layer of stress is removed, which makes it easier for your body and nervous system to respond.
-
Sessions are adapted to your current experience.
We work within your comfort level, focusing on supportive, sustainable movement rather than pushing through pain. The goal is to help your body feel safer, not more strained.
-
Consistency matters more than intensity. My private clients work with me for a minimum of 3 months. Then transition to less frequent sessions as they become more confident in their own practice.
-
You’ll be given simple, manageable practices to explore between sessions if it feels supportive.
There’s no pressure to “do it perfectly.” The goal is to build awareness in a way that fits into your life.
-
Sessions are typically purchased in advance, either as individual sessions or as part of a package.
More details will be provided when booking.
-
Sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged in full.
-
That’s completely understandable.
If you’re curious but unsure, you’re welcome to reach out with questions before booking. This work is most helpful when it feels like a good fit for you.
-
This work isn’t about fixing you or forcing change.
It’s about helping you understand your body, your breath, and your patterns—so you can move through your life with more awareness, ease, and choice.
-
At this time, I do not accept insurance.
-
Sessions are 60 minutes.
-
Yes.
Because sessions are held virtually, you can work with me from anywhere.
-
I don’t offer ongoing weekly pay-as-you-go scheduling. I work per client for a 3 month series. Most clients choose to work in a series of sessions to support consistency and progress.
