Meet Your Certified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist

Hi, I’m Kim Brandt

I support people in reconnecting with their bodies in a way that feels steady, clear, and sustainable.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Many people come to me after trying other approaches that haven’t worked or haven’t lasted. Often, it’s not because they’ve failed—it’s because they’ve been taught to rush the process. To fix, push, or override what they’re feeling.

I take a different approach.

Instead of forcing change, we slow things down. We learn how to listen and notice movement patterns. We give the nervous system the space it needs to settle and reset in a way that’s supportive rather than overwhelming.

Real change doesn’t happen through force—it happens through awareness.

What’s it like?

Through movement, breath, and guided awareness, I help you notice how you hold tension in your body, how you breathe, how you move—and begin to shift them with more ease and less effort. Consistency helps your body build new, more supportive movement patterns—often reducing pain creating new possibilities.

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more aware of their bodies, more at ease in their movement, and less weighed down by comparison, judgment, or expectation.

This work isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping you feel at home in your body again.

What this is (and what it’s not)

  • This is not a yoga class. And it’s not about fixing you.

  • This is a guided, one-on-one process where you learn how to understand your body and relate to it differently.

  • Many of us move through life pushing past our natural capacity without realizing it. Over time, this creates strain in the body and tension in the nervous system.

  • It often shows up as discomfort, tightness, or patterns that keep returning.

  • This work helps you slow down enough to recognize what’s actually happening, so your body can settle and respond differently.

  • You’re not trying harder. You’re learning how to work with what’s already there.

Who is this for?

  • If you’re here, something in your body feels off

  • Things don’t feel the way they used to

  • You’ve been pushing through discomfort or tension

  • What used to work isn’t working anymore

  • You’re not sure what your body needs

You may have tried to stretch it, strengthen it, or ignore it. But it's not resolving in a lasting way.

  • Awareness

Noticing what’s happening in your body without trying to fix it.

  • Capacity

Recognizing your limits and learning how to work within them instead of pushing past them.

  • Choice

Responding differently instead of repeating movement patterns that keep you in discomfort.
